Here my latest work, notice I added a lot of flight data as climb/cruise/descent time & fuel...
Still I wonder if I'll leave the "fuel per hours" value because someone not attentive
may wonder why he have a so big number and would think it have used this fuel while it's only
the average fuel consumption calculated for one hour of flight based on your flight....
(if you make 10 hours of flight the number should be -about- the same)
What you think ?
Anyway here are screenshots:

Notice I've added in FSP all what I think were missing, my fuel setting were always completely
wrong in the past, FsP will help you to plan your fuel load based on some flight... in this way
the "cruise fuel/hours" may be usefull...
All the option dialog are almost finished and all options works
(perhaps I'll add some more options before release)
Be warned it may still have somes text error, beta tester and correcter don't have all the
dialog yet in their version
The goal was to make them user friendly , so each time you click a button, select a drop list
or move a slider you will hear the sound (in case of volume setup)
or see the related help text below.
Here we go:
Example of help text when you select an option in a drop list:
This looks like a very interesting and long overdue product.
But I am wondering whether the program will assess the pilot's performance in relation to holding the assigned altitude (either by
sensing the ATC clearance or sensing any ATC prompts when deviating from the assigned altitude)?
The FS 2004 ATC instructions are written in text to the kneeboard, so it may be possible for the program to know about those instructions
(even if it is not possible to know about ATC instructions from programs such as Radar Contact).
(I assume that the program will be assessing performance in relation to lateral navigation, either from any flight plan filed or from ATC
instructions?)
I will be looking forward to your product in any event.
One beta tester had a request about transfering pilot beetween company,
thinking about it in fact it was a very important point that I missed...
When one have a pilot that have 800 hours of flight it may be really
frustrating if you want to fly another company to restart with pilot at level 0...
So , it's done:
Notice the new company will have to pay a fee based on rank... a 800 hours
pilot can be as costly as $20Mo... (this simulate "head hunter" and I think
it would be unfair to allow transfert without any drawback)
Anyway a low pilot rank cost less... (roughly one million $ per rank)
My name is Daniel Rosh, I'm an cockpit builder. I've got almost an full 737NG cockpit here at home. But I was
wondering, is it possible to
use PSP on an diffrent computer, an that it will comunicate with FS over the Network? Because I'm using 7 PC's
for my cockpit and I
doesn't want an little screen in my outside view. So if it's possible to run it on an other PC that sould be fantastic!!
In FsP you can switch the seat belt sign wich is essential for your passengers with two way:
1-Keyboard key (that you can redefine)
2-FsPassengers Menu
Of course clicking on menu isn't appealing while the sim pause during this process.
Pressing a keyboard key is nice and will please most of you.
But for you panel button lover, FsP will include somes gauges that you will be able
to place on your panel that can intteract with FsP...
For example the seat belt button:
This button can give order to FsP as well as receiving it, so if your press keyboard
key or toggle the seat belt in the menu this button will light or not, but if you press
on it it will change the seat belt state into FsP as well, so you will hear a "ding"
and the hostess will announce also the seat belt change to the passengers.
The gauge will be installed with the FsP install and can be installed like that
on the panel of your preffered aircraft (example):
gauge41=FsPassengers2004!CabinSign, 275, 282
(for those that don't know this is done in the panel.cfg, it's a common Fs gauge placement)
It can even be placed on virtual cockpit but this depend of the VC design (you have to find a place
on it, sometime it's not possible due to the design of the VC)
I post this now because I just reworked the gauge and now it work flawlessly
(previously it was a complicated system that didn't worked so well)
I'll be able to do more button design and more button in this gauge like GPWS hinibit or such
that will be able to intteract with FsP...
Thanks for your attention
Dan "happy to have cleared the gauge of all the complicated code and to have now a 100% working stuff"
While it's a question that come every two day in the forum please read this post:
about release date:
I work 14 hours a day with several people around that help me also for doc and text (I thanks them)
to finish FsP, I plan more or less to have the final in end of June but I can't
promise anything it can be also 15 day later...
Compatibility with add-on:
-In FsP you can fly with ANY aircraft available for Fs2004 even commercial from 2 to 1000 seat, jet prop or turboprop...
-FsP work with ANY addon that exist for Fs2004
FsP will work with any other sound add-on because there is option to set every FsP sound volume
(crew, gpws, atc, effect etc etc) so you can shutdown FsP sound if you have already an add-ons
that you preffer...
-FsP work also with online program as contact and such
