FsX crash to desktop
If FsX crash with 0xc00000005 error ("third party software error" etc.) , it's a problem of windows wrongly setting a "compatibility" setting
in the registry. It does not only appear with FsPassengers but also for other addons (see link below)
Solution
New solution:
The new FsPassengersX version dated from at least 23 january include and automatic detection & deletion
of the registry flag that cause problem. Download and run this installer.
Old manual solution & explaination of the problem:
--------------------------------------------
1) Open regedit
2) Goto the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
3) Delete the key "<PathToYourFsX>\\fsx.exe"="$~ RUNASADMIN IgnoreFreeLibrary<FsPassengers.dll>"
In the "layers" part, DELETE ALL the keys that start with your fsx.exe's path and a name of module.
