Hey all!
I've been playing FSP for quite a while now, but never actually bothered to sign up to the forums... the occasional snoop around what you
guys had to say, but that was pretty much it! hehe
Anyway, here's my warning.. BE AWARE OF THE WAR ZONES!!!!! The other day i was loooking around for new destinations to fly to, so
decided to fly to to some far eastern european country, forgot now which one it was. Apon approach the war zone risk bar came up... 5%,
the whole time till touch down nothing happened. As this was my first time to actually to fly over a war zone i was pretty suprised that
nothing
actually happened, all it did was give my pilot extra points... GREAT i thought! Lets start flying to war zone countries more often and get
those extra points, i need those promotions! lol
On next flight I decided to go to Iraq, what better place to find some war zone!? Upon decent everyhting seemed fine until i reached about
5,000 ft the war zone risk bar gradually staretd rising... my heart beating faster as it rose. Me thinking what the hell did i get into... who
knows what will hapeen next? still though.. nothing happened... i had the runway in sight and i was about to get those other extra points!
Then i heard the strangest sound... where those really gun shots? "Captain, Captain.. we have lost all hydraulics!!!"... Oh cr*p.. what do i
do now, i still need to retract my landing gear!!! Oh well.. a belly landing it would be... By this time i had already callled a mayday and i
was still seeing hope to get this baby down. then more gunshots "Captain, Captain.. left engine down!"... oh CR*P!!!! What now...? More
gunshots.. "Captain, Captain, Right engine leaking fuel!".. . by this time i felt like a flying sponge. Then more gunshots..
NOOO!!!!! "Captain... all electrical systems are down!!!", OMG i had no idea where i was (good thing i had the runway in sight!), i did not
know what my speed and altitude was.. this was to be done my my gut i i wanted to save all 141 passengers aboard, who by this time
wre pssin their pants.
i managed to get the baby down... half missing the runway, but who cares anyway... my newly bought A321 was wrecked!!!! Almost made
me bankrupt anyway...!
so here my advice to you.. keep those extra points in the pocket
