What's your silliest blunder while using FsP?

Dunno what my silliest mistake were exactly BUT I think I think there were plenty on second thoughts... easy to make mistakes here as one tends to be a bit more reckless and careless... im working on it however.. lol

One of my mistakes I did yesterday was on a flight from Seattle to San Fransisco in a 737. I took off, went to retract the gear, and the gear stayed
stuck down. Oh well, at least it's not a serious failure. I'd much rather have gear stuck down than up. I declared an emergency and flew a
right hand pattern back to the approach. Meenwhile i was thinking to myself "Alright! I'm gonna get so many bonus points for this flight. All I
gotta do is land the plane and end the flight"

Now in the real world, ATC would clear a path for you in an emergancy. Well, not in FS. I'm 100ft AGL on short final to the runway when a big 767
taxis out onto the threshold in front of me! AAAHHHH!! I pull up, balloon over the top of him and still manage to land out in front of him. I slow
my 737 down to a complete stop, set the brakes and begin to evacuate the plane. Oh, wait, I forgot about the 767!! It comes barreling down the
runway for takeoff and plows through my plane, killing 27 of 113 on board, and injuring my pilot, putting him out of commission for a good long time. The 737 is a total wreck, and would cost more to fix than to buy a new one. Shouldn't the airline of the 767 be paying for my new plane and my pilot's medical bills? I guess FS doesn't make that distinction does it.

As for my bonus points, FsP interprets the crash as my fault too and docks me points for it. It told me that I crashed at -320fpm (which was my touchdown speed) causing unessesary fatalities, blah blah blah.

Well, took off from the new free LEAL scenery (w/o IFR ATC) in that 737, put in +2000 climb rate up to 32500ft alt at 260 kts (cleared to go faster),
stayed until 10.000ft (engine malfunctions like birdstrike or reduced thrust to failure should occur earlier...), switched off the LL and went to the
loo. When I came back, I was there just i time to recover that beast out of a stall and the f*cking autopilot had put the stabilizers all the way up
and out-of-trim, that complicated things a bit. I wish I had flown that A319 with active alpha-protection instead.

Well, I lost about 8.000ft altitude and all trust of my passengers due to too much confidence in the climb rate of that (loaded) 737. Magically, I
avoided an overspeed while diving.

Broke off the flight, circled-to-land to LEVC and quit for that day, not saving the flight.

Next time, i'll just put in 1000 ft/min and let the crew loose for full service + movie while peeing.

737-700 SWA @ FL300, Serving drinks + food + plus a movie while i was doing my litle fidleing with my controls when i heard something
weird that i never heard before (FA opening the door) so i quickly looked at my gauges when " HELLO CAPTIN LIKE SOME COFFE
ENJOY!" so the i was so suppriezed i pushed my controller down all the way and put my self in a striaght nose dive! I bet the coffe got
onto the FA's face (i wonder how hot was the coffe ) the passengers screamed like crazy and the CP telling me "WHACTH YOUR
DESENT RATE" i recoverd but that was my first time using FsP and also one of my funnyist moments! (the flight attendant didnt even let
me answer her question if i liked coffe!!!!! )

Remember...the 747-400 ALWAYS requires thrust reverse when landing, even at 180kts...them brakes just won't cut it.

I actually landed fine without thrust reverser...I rolled some 500 feet past runway end and got a very hefty fine but I still stopped. As luck
would have it, I was landing at McCarran in Las Vegas so past the runway was just open desert.

I once forgot whether I had set the flaps on my DC-4 before take-off (the flaps penalty had got me paranoid), so after reaching 8000 ft
cruise I decided to re-watch my take-off on the replay mode to check my flaps setting. Everything looked okay so I happily went back
to "real time" and continue my flight....when I resumed, the cockpit was dead!...no engines...trim down...my co-pilot was mute, the
bastard! And I quickly went into a dive to keep from stalling. Passengers opinion dived too! Anyway, restarted the engines, revived the
plane and resumed my cruise, badly shaken, and 2,000 feet lower than before. Nan knocks at the door with a bit of coffee and gives me
a bloody heart attack!

I have since edited the sound pack so that she knocks very quietly before entering.

was doing my SFO checkride for Altair Virtual Airlines, decided as long as I was flying I would pick up some pax and go, well whole flight went well,
cept for the fact that I forgot to put the landing gear down, wrecked the plane it cost me more to heal my pilot than my plane.

After the door closed automatically when everyone was onbaord my United A319 at KSFO I opened it again not thinking it had been shut.

Then I began the takeoff roll and had to abort. Passengers got a bit scared.

Then I queued for another 1/2 hour for takeoff.

Then on my takeoff I went without ATC clearance and at the Runway 28/10 and runway 1/19 intersection collided with a CRJ-200 on my takeoff roll. Many
people died.

I was flying a 747 from KSFO to CYYZ and somewere over lake michigan, I decided to see what the various buttons on my photorealistic
747 panels did. I was about 30000 fett in the air and hit the master avionics button and, of course, I wasnt holding on to my yoke when
autopilot shut off. Out of the 247 passengers aboard, only 122 had their belts on when my plane entered a dive of death. I landed safely,
however 4 passengers died during my acrobatic flight and the rest that did not have seat belts on were injured.

The silliest blunder for me was on only my second complete FsP flight, and was not really my fault. I made a fantastic landing at cairo in an
Air France A340. FsP said "kiss" in brackets! However when I went to slow down on the runway the autothrottle had other ideas, and
refused to disengage. By using the parking brake as an emergency brake I still slightly over-ran the runway, but it stopped. The engines
were now throttling full forwards. I eventually got the autothrottle off (turned out the IAS autothrottle was off, but the mach one was not). By
now the aircraft had been stopped for so long that the seat-belt sign had gone out, and there were a lot of annoyed passengers when it
went back on as I started taxing again!

Overall I got penalised for:
-Engaging the parking brake at 90kts.
-Applying full throttle with the parking brake on.
-Some passengers hated when the seat belt sign went on again.

Oh my god I have just made the stupidest blunder just now...

I flew my 737-400 from Lisbon to Manchester in horrible foggy conditions perfectly and even with a malfunctioning ILS indicator, only to realise
afterwards.......that I'd done the entire flight for the wrong F***ing company. Pacifica Airlines, and not my own, on which I have loads of hours

I had made 3 sillest mistakes in one flight. The first was when I was flying from San Francisco to Miami with a 747-200, when I under
estimated the fuel. I had loaded the 747 with 30% instead of 40% of fuel. When I was about 200 miles I was down to 1% at 35,000ft. I
shut down all the engines and had to descend and make an immediate landing.

Luckily there was an International airport nearby (I cannot remember the name) and that was my intented airport at the moment. The
second mistake I made was requesting the tower for landing and the tower told me to make a right downwind. I should have made a
straight land in approach but I did not.

My fuel than ran out and I was going down. Now I had to cheat a bit here. I disabled the Autogen and I landed on the ground but it was a
hard landing.

The last mistake was to immediatly divert the flight when I had only 5 to 8 % of fuel left.

Just "Silly Mistakes" like that is not acceptable.
