Well... No problem! If there is a rebate I would appreciate and buy it without any problem. Worth the money anyway
![]() Keep up with the good work, I need FsPx until December (take your time, just kidding), vacations are to do the flights that I have not been able to do during my studies :D Thanks ![]() Post Edited ( 11-09-15 16:38 )

I made so much changes to the code due to Prepar3D, it's better to check all again before an official release

Hi Dan!
What about beta team for P3D version? P.S. I can test the fuel message on PMDG if you want. Cheers Fred Matias ![]() ![]()

Wow ! I thought this will never be ready and now it's just ahead of us ! It's been a long time since I've last used FsP on fsx and I always felt it's absence on my P3D sim .
Keep up the good work , Dan ! Can't wait to buy it and make my return as a bush pilot ! Radu

Good news ! After a very long week of work I have now a fully functional FsPassengersP3D on Prepar3D 2.5 version 12944 ALL functions are working even the most criticals. (As belly landing) Release is still not not for tomorrow, the hell is in details: I must check everything, clean & polish things, finish doc, webiste and also make the same work for the versions Prepar3D 2.5.12945 (the last patch for 2.5) and Prepar3D 3.0 Once done: Beta testing, last fix, and... release. Thanks for your patience ![]() Dan Post Edited ( 11-15-15 22:30 )

Some interesting detail on the work... (You can skip if not interested, there is no announcments here) I'm polishing yet my new "Check All Criticals Functions" 2015 utility. (Only beta testers will have it) FsPassengers as FSUIPC use direct addressing in memory to have features that are usually not possible (Typically, the belly landing as landing without wheel mean always a crash in FsX & P3D). Those addresses in memory change in each flight sim's version and it's very difficult to test them all during beta testing. User may get for example the "fuel leak" or "oil temp raising" failure only 1/250 flights: it's almost impossible to check. So, by menu, beta testers can launch a "check all special function" while on ground and they will have to answer some questions and perform some operations (changing weather, launching a flight replay etc etc) and they will see some funny things as flaps or instruments moving instantly, and finally a real belly landing. This produce a detailed log file text that they can send me if some test failed. This utility is a great gain of time and reliability, before this function I had to test all things "manually" which is very time consuming, not reliable at all and beta testers couldn't really check all the critical functions. Practically it look like this: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And with a bit of work, it end with this: A new version of FsPassengers is almost ready ! ![]() ![]()

Anywhere we can "apply" for Beta testing the P3d version?
16-11-2015, 08:22 PM
Sorry no, It would be an alpha release without much interest. I would loose time chasing bugs before finalising the version which is a good way to lost track of things.
I'll announce the beta here someday before and post thread on the forum when time will come. Post Edited ( 11-17-15 08:44 )

Any chance of FsP being released before Christmas time if anything goes as planned ? Also , is there some info about it's price on release?
Thanks for the hard work !

Great news!
I'm looking forward for the new version of FSPassengers for Prepar3d. It's great to see the program evolving. Dan, please consider to add a very simple emergency that I've always missed on FSPassengers: the medical emergency scenario. I've already made some references to this over some previous topic but let me present my idea again. Like in real life, there is always a small chance that one of the passengers has a sudden medical condition that forces the aircraft to divert enroute to a suitable airport to provide medical assistance. And that happens more often than one would imagine, on a daily basis! We could easily implement a random notification on the mini display advising of a medical emergency aboard, requiring a non planned landing at the next nearby suitable airport. I'm imagining a clock counting down a random time, like 20 minutes for the passenger to have good chances of survival upon arrival at the gate. If you managed to land within the remaining time, perfect! You would win bonus points and the company reputation would go up. If you landed after the prescribed time, the passenger might or might not survive. There would be less points awarded or subtracted according to the delay on landing. This is relatively easy to implement and would add a lot of fun to the flights. Now even during cruise, without any mechanical failure there would be a reason to remain vigilant and know the country you are overflying to be prepared for a medical scenario. This sounds like fun, Dan. Think about it!

Kind Regards
