iflyfsx,
That's true, but at least if you call Microsoft Support, somebody will answer the phone, regardless if they are going to support you in the end or not.
He has basically two versions of his product, one for FS9 and one for FSX. I agree that larger companies like Microsoft don't support everything
forever, but they usually have a heck of a lot more versions to support than just 2, so comparing a tiny company like this to a conglomerate like that
is really kind of ridiculous. Check out the way that Hi-Fi Simulations http://www.hifisim.com is running their company. They also have add-ons for
Flight Simulator. They are also larger than Dan, but at least they are releasing regular patches and service packs and you usually get a response
from them within 48 hours.
The point is that right now, this forum is the only support you get and as far as I know, he isn't paying anyone here to provide it, so his only
expense is whatever small amount per year he is paying for this domain.
And excuse me, but for the amount that he is charging for this add-on (which now exceeds the price of the simulator itself), he should not be ignoring
his customers when they ask for help, which currently is what is he doing.
He's got some nerve for doing that.
