Lakers: yes, this is not a matter of life or death, and at the end of the day I have food and shelter, which makes me conclude: I would have
preffer to have donated the $50 to charity than to had spent it on this software.

It is because of this lack of accountability that the web will eventually have to be legislated. Sad.

It sounds to me like this whole project is/was way out of Dan's league. While I appreciate the concept of the program, I think one man show serving
the entire world of the flightsim community is a complete madness and a lack of respect for your customers. I've been banned and probably still am
from these forums for getting in his face about the lack of update for FSX and I don't care, he deserved it. I did use foul language at that, which I
shouldn't have, but foul language isn't enough for a permanent ban of IP, just wanted to bring this up as up until recently, my IP has changed so I
was able to get access to get here, I wasn't even able to get any sort of support through here while being the owner of the software. Actually I'm
being banned from entering the entire site, not just the forums. How ridiculous is that? Nice going aces, seriously.

The fact of the matter is that the support of this product is pretty much nonexistent, I know it, you know it and the entire community knows it, it's
nothing new. Heck, not even the mods are getting a response from the man himself, how laughable is that? Yet the mods keep covering up for him, lol.
Amazing. What if something serious happens to the guy? You have all these copies of a product sold to the community which you can't even properly
support. Behavior like this only gets illegal copies to torrents and warez sites, if you treat your customers like crap, the payback is usually pretty
substantial, just look at all the hacked Aerosoft and Wilco products out there.

Anyways, this is probably going to get deleted and my ban will continue without being able to get support, I don't care as I've said my peace.
Oh and btw, there's nothing about being American or arrogant about the original poster, he's a straight up customer that has a valid point, also
someone else said "But you if you want people to treat you the same way, you gotta show respect first." - well son, this is a massive pile of crap as
you've obviously never worked in the environment of sales people and customers, it doesn't work this way in sales amigo, get a grip before you go out
and start schooling everybody else how to behave in certain situations.

Jacek, I don't see either myself or Whiskey covering up for Dan or anyone on this forum. I'll let everyone know right now that I have written Dan
asking him to remove me from being a moderator here for my own personal reasons, but I haven't heard a peep out of him yet. Who's to say that Dan
isn't in the best of health these days? After all, he's had a history of medical problems. Sometimes I have to be mindful of that prospect, but it
still doesn't solve the issues many customers have. Yet, it's the "unknown" factor that leaves a bad taste here. I totally understand that...and I
expressed as much in an earlier post.

Maybe Dan should just kill the forums and deal with folks only through email like some other developers do....

I don't know if I should consider myself in the majority or one of the lucky few. I have never incountered a single problem (that wasn't of
my own doing) with the program. Almost exclusively I fly FS9 on XP. The way that I view the situation is that the only way to make FSP
perfect for everyone would be to issue everyone the exact same computer. Otherwise it seems neive to think that with the infinite
combination of OS, motherboards, video and sound cards that's possible that everyone would have the same perfection that I am
fortunate to have. The facts remain as they have always been, Dan is alone, there is NO support system other than we band of brothers.
No, this is not the best business model in the world but it is what it is and no amount of bitching and gnashing of teeth is going to change
the situation. Let's try to stick together and fight the battles that can be won, such as landing without blowing tires.

Maybe it is correct that Dan should have been more involved with his customers.

But seriosly, your complaints aren't gonna go anywhere, at the end of the day, you are just like everyone here and you're prollly not, who is waiting for Dan to come

I gave up on getting any updates to FSP a long time ago, and just cope with the bugs. The current round of fixes with beta testing is no exception;
I'm not holding my breath. It would have been nice if Dan had delegated some bug fixing to some willing volunteers, instead of just Beta testing.
I'm sure quite a few would have been willing to step and and do it for free.

This would be a solution, but the fact remains that he still doesn't answer his e-mails, leaving us at the same point.

I've pretty much given up myself as well of ever seeing the day that an update will be brought to fix the numerous bugs in FSP for FSX.

I'll be getting a new system soon, I will be giving FSP one last try, but I still encounter the problems that will be it.

I agree with the people that brought up that Dan should stop charging people money for a product he can't provide support for, or he should put
together a team of programmers to support him.

Let's not get too carried away! While there may be insufficient support from Dan, the forum has provided me much invaluable information to work
out problems. Thoughtful moderators and other experienced pilots in the community have given very helpful suggestions on how to adjust my flying

I would be very disappointed if the forum ever closed down. Most of us have been here quite a while and the fact is the help and support is us, and
like Spectre said it can be at times funny as well. Having a forum has allowed us to discuss our problems and hopefully solve them, with other people
contributing, so it isn't always the Forum moderators lol. However I do think Dan should get more involved, expecially If people are having serious
problems with FSP or money related.

After 2 years with no problemss into a single FSX computer, using 2 computers ... FSP starts to fail with that horrible message:

How did i fix it? Simple, I had be forced (at only solution for me) to use a "cracked" copy, cause nobody on the support forum give me the
solution.Look that... I´m a LEGAL USER OF FSP...no comments

Belive me, I hate to use illegal copies of software, and most, when I had purchased them, but sometimes there is no way like that one to find a
solution. :-(

The question is: Am I legitimated to use this solution?

SUR, if you had been using a legitimate copy of FsPX from the very beginning, why do you think a cracked copy would be any better? I would say NOT.

Some people have nerve. Where do they get the idea that buying a piece of software entitles them to lifetime customer support? Does Microsoft or any
other big company do that? Of course not. They charge you a significant amount EXTRA for support.
