[Solved] I have a problem (Version of FsX is outdated)

i have the exact same problem. i have windows 7 64-bit and when i open up flight simulator x after installing fs passengers, it says

"Your version of FsX is outdated (RTM), you must have at least SP1 or SP2 installed FsPassenger - FsPassenger will now exit"


i got a sp1 for windows 7, but still the same problem.

i read this thread but i dont see what the solution is

can you guys PLEAASE help me as soon as possible? i really want to play using this, get back to me as soon as possible

Wrong service pack. You need to go to http://www.fsinsider.com and download Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 for Flight Simulator NOT Windows 7.

ok thanks but now i got a bigger problem.


after i install service pack 1 i cant even open fsx, when i try running it , it says

"flight simulator is unable to load some programs and will now exit, please repair or reinstall flight simulator X"

i tried reinsstalling, it worked but then when i tried installing the service pack 1 again, then i got the same problem again..


Do you know the fix for this? please help me..

Never seen "unable to load some programs" -- did you reinstall anything other than FSX then SP1 before trying to run it?

Even if not, try removing and reinstalling FSX again and try taking a flight before moving onto SP1 and anything else.

But i have tried all that, and yes i only installed sp1 to get fspassengers working.. FSX works fine before i install sp1 but after i install it, it
gives me that errorr.. i googled it and alot of other ppl seem to be having the same problem but i haven't found a solution.

im getting really sick of this..
