When I try to start up FSX I get a message saying

First of all welcome to our forums.
Be sure you read the FAQ and our forum rules before posting.
This was allready discussed several times here on the forum.
For now,.....
We need a little bit more info.
Do you have SP1 or SP2 installed?
What is your OS?
Ps: next time try to make the title a little more specific

I just got FSX . Ive been using FS Passengers on 2004 all those years. How do i get the SP #?

You can do it via your FSX menu.

You will need to uninstall FSPX from your computer before installing the service packs.

Yeah, it worked. I am a noob when it comes to FSX. FS 2004 never had any Service Packs..... as far as i know.

Just for trivias' sake there was a very small service pack years ago for FS9 that repalced some bad landclass mistakes and some
missing bridges.
