When on IVAO, I will for sure use voice to communicate with ATC. It adds to the fun. And they do have a few female ATC, although not too
many.. But they already felt in love with my voice. So don't expect anything HB. ![]() Ivao's main site can be found on http://www.ivao.aero And for those that are afraid of falling in a black hole between the end of WTIII and the start of WTIV.. They also have a few WT that you can fly ![]() ![]()

For all those wondering, IVAO (and thus SB4) has a unicom we are all acustom to from FSInn. During the tests we will determine if we will use this
unicom for chat or add an IRC channel. Thus far Unicom seems the way to go

If we use Unicom, we might annoy other pilots that are not involved in the WT...

Hmm just read the IVAO's regulation: Quote:5.1.7 - At certain airports FRA's (Facility Rating Assignments) are in effect. This means that on certain main Airports ATC must have http://www.ivao.aero/fras/list.asp and here the list.. http://www.ivao.aero/fras/list.asp In short you may not haveing fun..pardon doing ATC except you climb their training ladder In what way are they less regulated than SATCO, pardon VATSIM? Were are the good old times you could have fun doing virtual ATC or flying not have to bother about ranks positions trainings and other balasts? .... We didn't need regulation of position back then .. Everyone did what he/she feelt he/she can handle and no one complained. It was good for everyone pilots and ATCs and most of all it was really FUN for everyone. Also when it was not perfect. Boy I loved to manage a bunch of planes in approach as _APP in the busy times. Could I do it? Yes. And yery well. I hardly had to put any plane into a hold also on very busy events. Did I have any ATC Rank? No. And I didn't need it for that job at that time. No one complained. Far the opposide. They were happy that there were any controller at all. We helped the net to grow . Europe was a dessert back then. It was such a good time... all gone and gone ![]()

true.. Most change of getting ATC is in Europe. Outside Europe you must be lucky to get ATC. Especially because of the different time zones..
On the other hand. If you publish the legs on IVAO, I'm sure you are going to attract more pilots and ATC. ![]()
