As may be known by now, WourldTour III will be ending in a few weeks.
Time has come now to start planning for WT4.

Question here is, if you want to be part of WT4, what airport challenges would you like to see in the coming WT?
Who knows, it may be possible to schedule in your airport

I do have only 1 request however....... be online so we can have fun together
The more the merrier
And we will not use any protocol or ATC as you veterans know by now. Just state what youre intentions are and have fun, that is all we are looking
for......
Remember that flying the FSPWT online with the others will definately show you how fun FS can be on multiplayer, but also provide a base for you to
ask those things about your aircraft and flights you always wanted to know.

Well, I'd like too see my local airport on the schedule, namely EGBE (Coventry)

Good call on ENSK (where I was flying last night ) needs to be a jet flight though, spent a few hours doing circuits to
see what I could get in there with.


What about Toronto, or Hamilton where I lived for 9 years.

To anyone who has not flown the WT or who has not flown on-line get yourselves there, I know it took me a while
(@boozecrew) but what fun!!!

I'll be there for WT4 if the timings stay the same for 80% of flights, already looking forward to Tuesday's, lets hope the same ammount
show up on-line. And this time I get the right dest

Love to see us roll through the desert up here. How about KPGA? Need a prop or light jet to get in here. Chance to overfly the Grand
Canyon if we come up from Vegas or KGCN or something like that.

Another suggestion - Perhaps some/all of the airports could be scheduled for seasonal challenges. Like Lukla in winter, or the
Caribbean during Hurricane season, SE Asia during Monsoon, etc... Just a thought. We would have to get lucky with the weather but
perhaps a few of the legs would throw something extra into the mix.

Some thoughts to bear in mind when planning the next tour..

These are the criteria I personally used when planning the last couple of tours (the route for WT#3 was largely submitted by Tracker):

1) The duration of each leg should not exceed 02:15 (which is approx. 850nm).
2) There should be some add-on scenery available for the destination (I don't know about you, but hate approaching a "bear-bone" standard airport).
3) There should be a (fairly) good mix of jet and prop legs (check the length of the longest RW at the destination airport before declaring it a "jet"
leg).
4) Try to incorporate challenging approaches ever so often.

hmmm ideas for Wt4..

* more challenging approaches like TFFJ and Lukla.
* try some nights with multiple legs. With each leg no longer then 50/100nm. Something like EHGG-EHAM / EHAM-EHRD / EHRD-EHBK.
(if you stay within a 400nm radius you will still be able to see each other and chat with each other). And off course you're then required to
use both a jet and a prop of one of those flights.
* extra requirements. Like doing a jet flight in the ALPS where you have to stay below 5,000ft.
* do online flights where the destination airport is not known untill 15 minutes before departure. And then have no charts available for the
destination so that you have to go in blind. Off course it will be impossible to check if someone would look up the charts during mid-flight,
but it's up to the Pilots whether they want the challenge of going in blind, or look up charts.

Just a few thoughts. I'm not looking for Wt4 to be come some sort of tournament. But having some "extra" fun on some nights could
perhaps attract some extra pilots.

I agree with DBE that add-on sceneries for destinations add to the fun of the flights. But if you would add other fun parts to flights, I would
not have any problem with landing on those fields with only a strip.

I had actually thought about joining the WTIII late but it seemed like there were some requirements for add-on stuff and I have had
problems with add-ons messing up my 2004 game. Maybe FSX is better?
