FYI, up until now, no download was mandatory. The charts and scenery recommendations are simply there for those who wish to benefit from a more
realistic experience.....without the fuss of searching for the stuff.

Even the flight plan only serves to make sure that peeps can easily find each other when flying online.

My motto for the first three tours was KISS (keep it stupid and simple). Indeed most often great ideas simply fizzle out in the long run because they
are too complicated to manage: it is NOT easy to keep participants motivated for more than 90 legs and nearly a year of touring the world!

As far as site mods are concerned, you are more than welcome. Actually everything is mod-ready; but as nobody volunteered so far (and most of the
corrective work had to be performed directly on the SQL DB <<== THAT's where the times goes, BTW) I didn't push it.

All you had to do was ask Mark We never said anything as we knew you had things under control. But with FSX also coming up now it is simply too
much for a single soul to handle.
Im sure myself and Joy would be happy to help out where we can

As for the motivation..... why do you think we spend so much time online

Ummm, we have always known Mark to be the benevolent dictator of the WT You've been in a drunken haze and failed to realize this
until now

As far as volunteering goes, count me in I'll help out any way I can.

Even though I've thanked Mark privately(email) for all he has done to make the WTs happen, I think it's more appropriate to publicly give
Mark major kudos for the outstanding work he has done in preparation for each World Tour and all of the maintenance he has to do
during each tour. I'm sure it's a daunting task considering he has a busy life outside of flight simulation. So, a huge THANK YOU, Mark,
for providing a conduit of fun and fellowship among the many FsP enthusiasts. Job well done!

a nice airport in LIPX ( Verona ) is also available freeware , most of the time there is a very dense fog there. ( or maybe I always have this
problem ) but as now when I can or my computer wants I'll pop-up

I must echo the thought's of Joe and Tracky, Mark it may have taken me a bit of time to get online but the work you do is AWESOME
I have to give you and all others involved a big truely great.

I hope I can be around for loads of tours coming up, please don't stop now.

Your work gives me great pleasure and I hpe I can enjoy a few more tours with the boozecrew.

If I can do anything to help please ask, I'm not unrealistic and if you ask me to do something I can't I will tell you but if I am able

As we will be trying to get rid of FSInn as server for the WT flights I'm researching the standard build-in FS Multiplayer option.
Coming Friday, Feb 6th, from 2000 GMT+1 to about 2300 GMT+1 I will host a session called WorldTour4.

For the duration of the test I would like to invite as many pilots to get online.
I will be based at EHAM so you are free to fly to, from or do circuits around at all times. Maybe this might be a nice feature for people who have
never flown online to hone their skills as well and get acquinted with online flight.

FS limits clients to 16 though so if there are many online you may not be able to get in to the server.

This is a test only, there are many more programs and other things I need to test. This, if proven worthwile, this might be an easy way for both FS9 and
FSX users to fly WT4 online.
