The stewardess and co-pilot interaction is to somewhat enliven longer flights. If you initially add four stages to flights > 1.5 hours and two
stages per hour after that (3 hour flight would be divided into 6 stages <4 stages for first 1.5 hours and 2 stages for additional 1.5 hours>
to figure all percentages of flight commands; 5 hour flight would include <4 stages for first 1.5 hours and 6 stages for additional 3.5 hours
for total of 10 stages divided evenly across flight. This will keep some flight status for those of us listening to flight control for hours and
hours. What do you think overall about this?

I usually have my headrest screen for that. :'] A nice long flight to BKK, few movies, drink, I'm set. :']

I've never been on a flight where the captain/first officer has said that. Although, I always seem to have night flights, might that be the

yeh i've never heard this on a fligh either lol and i go like every 4 months from Bangkok to the UK for the past 2 years, i think the reason being
that on long distance flights you tend to have a high cruising altitude and when you look out the window you can't really see a whole lot apart from
clouds and some land that is really far down to get a good look at lol was a good ideo tho =)

Hey, I dont know if this has been addressed already, but for Career mode:

Each pilot must fly airport to airport, i.e. your pilot cant be in california, and his next flight is out of florida...

same goes for planes, a specific plane must depart out of the previous place it landed...

so you can have different pliots giving you the ability to fly out of different destinations, but they must continue in real life order...
and planes start at where they are bought, so better make sure there is a pilot where you bought the plane otherwise your sol...

(but there could also be the option, to pay to have planes transfered, or pilots flown to xxxxx airport) but it would add some more realism to
the game which I think would be interesting and fun...

Or just add that career mode option, to force consecutive order or not...

I really like that idea!!!
It'd also be cool for the price differing from country to country an quality too...

Might be a little to late but one can only hope hey!!

Yep, was suggested before. Not 100% sure what the result was, but I think the response was highly positive towards the idea.. I think it'll
be in the final release.

I would like to thank you first, for creating an update of this really beautifull program, such FSP is. It raises flight simulation to a higher
level.

I haven´t read all posts in this topic, but two of them did make me interested. The post about wind, and windshear. And also about speed
restrictions.

You wrote, that in real life, you also can have windshear and jetstreams etc. That´s definately true. But.. I became really sad, when I was
punished for "overspeed" by FSP, when I flew in FL350 (for e.g.) and I get 100kts windshear (tailwind changed to headwind). Be sure, that
this can happen during network flying - I don´t know, how about on VATSIM, but on IVAO is that very common situation. Even I flew on M.80
with my B767, instead of M.84, I definately couldn´t avoid of overspeed, resp. stall. And are you really sure, that windshears, like I
described, are common in real life also..?? If yes, disregard my post.

And now speedlimits. There is a penalty of keeping higher speed than 250IAS below FL100. But what if the current TMA is class C
airspace, where there is no such a limit for IFR departures. Why I need to keep 250IAS, instead of accelerating to my cruising speed..?
I think, that in OM of B767, this limit is just recommended, but not required. So IMHO is not neccessary to keep 250IAS, if the OM doesn´t
require it..

level and/or an incrementally growing penalty after 8 seconds above 250knts (if one cannot slow down within that time) while lower than
FL100 / without controls approval to go higher speeds.

I like the idea of a pilot that lands in a determined airport will be only allowed to flight from that specific airport... and if you need to make a
flight from another airport location which requires his career to pilot an aircraft that he is certified to ... well make him a taxi service :D pick
up you cessna with another pilot and pick him :D

OMG... and when you check your companies statistics you would have a section with a top rank from all users using the same simulation mode (perhaps
only for those using the most realistic simulation mode)... something automatically updated with a few information about the company... money, status
trusted company or not, rate of crashes... dunno if it would be interesting and worth to have it

Just a thought:-

Love the idea of 'illegal' flights and Aerobatic flights etc. Perhaps (I would be willing to help set this up) it would be possible to have a web
based database 9my guess would MySQL) containing a list of 'packages' that need to be hauled working a little like a VA but marking pilots name and
company against completed flights. I guess I’m saying a VA written up to handle different companies but also allowing pilots to group together and
form one company. Not sure how hard the FSP coding for something like that would be but pretty sure I could have the a website up to do that quite
quickly. I guess the point is a VA system written specifically to work with FSP.

Also perhaps extra points for 'short field' landings but not to sure how easy that would be cos obviously it depends on the size of the aircraft as to what constitutes a shirt landing!

On the VNE issue i speak from RL experience VNE is the speed at which full deflection of the controls can be applied with out damaging the aircraft.
It is possible to Over speed without breaking the aircraft but it is not a good idea! I had a situation flying a T31 (vintage open cockpit Glider) with
VNE of about 60 knots the winch driver launched me like a K21 (about 3 times the weight) and gave me in excess of 70knts almost from the all out!
what did I do? put the nose down to off load the wings and signaled too fast (rudder side - side) like mad till he backed off and I could climb and
release in a safe position had I released at the over speed the cute on the cable would have inflated and hit me in the face on landing the glider had to
be checked over for overstress and I had more than a few words for the winch driver! I can also confirm that adrenaline is brown! Also have to thank my instructors for having me ready to deal with such an instance calmly!

Even in Glider aerobatics where speed into a maneuver is important I have never pushed the aircraft closer than 10knt of VNE and then only for
short periods of time (I.E. build up energy for a loop or stall turn). So im with the crowd of wind shear exists, air moves, air is turbulent. Pilot
Beware! Let us not make this great program cheapen its self by backing off. Any over speed is serious and can have serious results. Therefore should be punished!

I am not sure, if I understood well your post.. I don´t know, if you agree with my post, where penalty for high (>250IAS) is IMHO nonsense
or you don´t agree with it..
I think, that max 250IAS below FL100 for (especially) departures, is worthless.
As far as I know, if TMA(or whatever part of airspace) is class C airspace or higher (B and A), there is no such a restriction for IFR below
FL100. If yes, it needs to be described in AIP or usually is quoted on arrival/departure charts.. But, generally, there is no limit for IFR in
class C or higher airspace.
And most of main world airports TMAs are class C or higher..
