Files are already compressed in the installer, if you mean after install that would only slow loading
as todays's HDD are huge and will not notice 10 or 20mb more.

i know if u download fsp you need to unlock the full version and "purchase" it. will that be the same for fsp x? does it cost? do u have to
pay in euros?

This has been answered many time Mini, yes it will cost. The amount is still up to Dan to determine. Any online purchase is automatically
converted by the processor so paying in euros is really irrelavent. It isn't like you have to contact a bank for currency exchange. :P

From what Dan posted the Beta of FSPX will not be "released" but have a closed beta for testing. Had not said when so any time frames
would be pure guesswork (unless Dan would like to give us a FSPX progress update )

Update : VoicePackCreator almost finished and ready for beta (tomorrow, next day ?)

Double click one sound in the "possible list of sound", hit record, speak in mike, done.

Predetermined type of sound select automatically the right setting (filter etc etc) but you can change them manually also.
No need to do anything on wav sound, they are filtered and with the correct format. Ready to play.

Hint: don't miss the "record" button

Dan, out of interest, will we be able to adjust the default text and keep the original? eg if you fly for a VA called ABC Airlines, you could edit
the text to say "ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard this ABC Airlines flight..."

and then I'd like to be able to set it back to the default?

No, texts are usually only displayed in outside view because they are only here to inform you what is happening inside the aircraft when
you are in extrernal view (and can't hear the announce) or when there is urgent message if you are affraid to miss them. (too noisy?)
In brief precise text are not important, you can even edit them "welcome announce" "safety announce"
