[closed] FsPassengers for FSX official note and please !

I seem to vaguely remember ideas like this being bandied about before. Nice ideas, but if I remember rightly we came to the conclusion
that this was a simulator, so we could fly, rather than a 'tycoon' game.

Please don't take that as a put down, the ideas would be great to see implemented, but would leave very little time to actually fly.

edit: Dan, would it be possible to increase the number of aircraft we can own this time around?

First off I love your product, I use it on all my flights. I tried to read the majority of this thread, but its getting pretty long now so I apologize if
you answered this, or something like this already.

I fly Concorde all the time and use your product while doing so. I am always receiving the fuel penalty when landing. It was not
uncommon for Concorde to land with fuel well below what I get penalized for. I shoot for around 9-11 Tons on arrival, anywhere around 6
Tons and the pilots would have gotten their wrists slapped. I also get the penalty once in a while for the tail strike, yet Concorde had a
higher rotation on landing then most aircraft. Now I know its tough for you to make a product that suits all the add-ons out there, but could
you make the fuel penalty and tail strike customizable in the "more options"?

There are a great number of us who fly Concorde and use your product who have a perfect flight ruined by the fuel penalty.

All I'm going to say at this time, is that 'Check update requested for FsPassengers version=20050905' <-- this, is very worring to me.

Dan you have a very good piece of software, but nothing is perfect. Even the current latest version has problems, that needs to be fixed. I
even recall you on multiple times on this forum stating that a update to the FS9 version will come to address issues and add things that
has been requested. Yet, your software is now going over 2 years, unmaintained, and not updated.

If I forget about quickly FSX, and think about the FSP for FS9 that I have paid my money for... I feel that I have baught a dead stick - this
software is currently going no where. Without throwing more money in your pocket for a new product, I am not getting any value from you
or your software currently...

The question has been raised on this very thread, I'll do so again... What is your plans with FSP for FS9? I do have FSX, I do fly with FSX,
but I'm not prepared for fork out thousands (litterally) of dollars in total for addons that simply mimic what I can achieve in FS9 already...

And no, this isn't a rant or a attack or anything like that... So will the kind hearted die hart FSP fans kindly take their flames and attacks and
go and throw it in a bin... This is a serious concern for me....

Savage, I totally agree with you... I am still using FS9 and hoping for an update of FSPassengers. But it is still very quiet...

Why do you think you bought a dead stick? Have you been unable to benefit from FSP up until now? Same about the value: apart from a couple of minor
bugs, FSP works great and delivers exactly the features advertised.

As for the software going nowhere: where exactly do you want it to go? Sure: additional features would be welcome. But the software wasn't sold with
the promise that they would be delivered.

Don't get me wrong: I would love to see the FS9 version being updated. However, I quite understand that Dan prefers to concentrate on the FSX version
before any FS9 updates (if any) are released.

Hi Dan,

I'm now locked out from FSP since a year due to my wrong decision to switch to FSX. And without FSP i hardly have any fun with FS.

The news in august gave me some hope that FSPX should not be too far away. Hmmm, there wasn't too much information since then.
How is the progress doing? Did the beta testing already start?

First of all your work is great, your doing a very good job.

It woul be nice to see some pctures of your progress from time to time.

I know It is a lot of work but I think It would make many people happy.
