As said I'm working on "FsPassengers" for FSX , its come up nicely but this its not an easy job,
MS not only have changed adress and stuff but also completely changed the SDK. (Still the SDK
is of a poor help for unique stuff of FsPassengers.)

FsPassengers was unique because it was almost "impossible" to do it for Fs,
all this "impossible" work has to be redone for FsX, I'm on the good way but this
may still take some month.

I understand that some peoples may be really impatient but this is not a "hello world"
program in basic, I'll post more news in this thread as the project evolve.

This said please keep the forum clean of all those "FsP for FsX When" thread,
I know moderator start to be annoyed by this.

Yeah, thanks and bon courage, keep the good work, I'm impatient to see a FSX version but I respect 100% the fact that it's a hard and long work, and
it's nothing that you are forced to do - some people rant about the fact they paid for FSPax, but honestly, the price was so low for all the amazing
things FSPax does, while other editors would have made you buy 5 differents addons for less features, so I think you already more than fullfilled the
contract with FS Pax.
If you have to do many things from scratch, then you're doing FS Pax 2, and people should stop ranting as if this was a trivial patch and realize this
a new software development, so they're not entitled to anything, and you're not owing anybody anything.

I totally understand the member who fly with FSX and wait to get FsP. On my side, for hardware, add ons and network config reasons I
keep on FS 9.1 (don't change a winning team ). Then, I don't feel either in a hurry for updates as the current version I can use with any
plane and in network flight is fully doing the job.

It is anyway great to read some words from you, personnaly from time to time and now that, as you are in the workshop, things are going
well.

I'd say they learned from their mistakes there. Direct memory access is great if you need to scan large amounts of data at a high frequency. But if
you can setup triggers and have a clean API definition, you don't have to scan anything at all and save a lot of wasted CPU cycles by moving from
polling to an event driven model. Plus, they have the freedom to change memory locations and internal structures without affecting anyone using the
defined API. Also, using IP packets allows add ons to reside on a remote system out of the box ... smart move.

There's one thing I'm very curious about; does FSX make it possible for FSXPax to read the visibility data (something that was impossible within FS9)?
Or is it too early to say?

There is a "AMBIENT VISIBILITY" parameters but I didn't checked it's consistency yet.
