I think this topic came up a few months ago but I can't recall and I'm too lazy to search right now. Since FSP is on the verge of being
downloaded like hotcakes, I just wanted to post a quick topic to see where everybody is planning on flying on their first FSP route?
I haven't fully decided yet, but I figure I'll go one of two routes:
I may just purchase a Mooney Bravo and go the career route, if so my first quick flight will be:
KSFO (San Fran) to KOAK (Oakland)
That's a quick flight to get the feel of everything.
If I decide to go with my original plan, my first plane will be a Fokker70 and I'll fly:
KSFO (San Fran) to KFAT (Fresno)
That will be a short hop as well.
Either way, I plan on flying 1 to 2 flights before I purchase, only because I'll be too excited to wait another minute and get my credit card.
BTW, if anybody is looking a site where you can plan your route by how far you plan on flying, try this:
http://map.aeroplanner.com/mapping/chart/NearbyAPT.cfm
You can enter your starting airport and then sort available airports by distance. Nice if you are flying on a time budget.
