Hostess Scares the crap out of me.

So yea, I'm haflway across the pacific, flying along nicely, when all of a sudden I hear a BOOM coming from behind me. I shriek and begin scanning
instruments only to hear the hostess serving me coffee.

I'm not complaining, but do those chicks kick down the bloody cockpit door?

Y is it, in free mode you cannot hear the Hostess speaking?? and even the co-pilot aint there.. is it only like that with economic mode?

Heh, maybe it's just the aircraft sound files I have, but most of my planes (especially the A340 I'm flying at the moment) have a fair bit of wind
noise, so the cockpit door doesn't really scare me much. It would be nice to turn that wind down a bit, but I have it up so I hear more engine noises
from surrounding planes at airports (I think "environment" controls it in FS2004).

Not only does it sound like she takes a running start at the door but she never leaves I end up with most of the cabin staff on my
flightdeck after a long flight

I was playing BF2 once - Strike at Karkland map. I was using the Spec Ops kit and was toying with a tank around a control point - not
always a good thing to do, even with AT kit. I'd hide behind some crates and let him take the flag - then just as he was out the door (it
was the one in the storage building - not that anyone cares. ), I would walk over and turn it neutral again, keeping him occupied so my
team could worry about other things and not this T-74. Anyway, I'm tip-toeing around some crates, listening for the tank in my 4.1
surround sound and THOUGHT he was on the other side of the building. As I poked my head out from behind a box - CANNON
POINTED RIGHT IN MY EYE! BOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I DID fall out of my chair and back against the couch!

The tank driver then proceeded to saturate his pants.

And I took my pulse numerous times.
