So yea, I'm haflway across the pacific, flying along nicely, when all of a sudden I hear a BOOM coming from behind me. I shriek and begin scanning
instruments only to hear the hostess serving me coffee.
I'm not complaining, but do those chicks kick down the bloody cockpit door?

I know the feeling. I was once watching a horror movie while being on a long flight and in one of the suspense part of the movie.....BOOM i jumped and
almost fell out of the chair

I know the feeling. Sitting there fat and happy, cruising right along when all of a sudden the loud THUD of the cockpit door brings me out of my seat and back into reality

Y is it, in free mode you cannot hear the Hostess speaking?? and even the co-pilot aint there.. is it only like that with economic mode?

Heh, maybe it's just the aircraft sound files I have, but most of my planes (especially the A340 I'm flying at the moment) have a fair bit of wind
noise, so the cockpit door doesn't really scare me much. It would be nice to turn that wind down a bit, but I have it up so I hear more engine noises
from surrounding planes at airports (I think "environment" controls it in FS2004).

Not only does it sound like she takes a running start at the door but she never leaves I end up with most of the cabin staff on my
flightdeck after a long flight
