Hi, I've just been scanning the flight logs of Dan and all the beta testers so far, and it looks fantastic, but a thought occured to me when I
clicked on a flight to get more details and saw this at the bottom :
-Forgetting to set the proper flaps during take-off is an extremely dangerous fault and does not show proper piloting skills. (-300)
I'm glad that if the pilot forgets to do something he is penalised, but does FSP tell us what the flap setting should have been?
In other words, what if the pilot did not set the flaps on take-off because he simply does not know what settings he should use. Does FSP
tell us what settings to use?? (i.e. in a checklist or something)
Also, the actual flight I looked at was flown in a Cessna 182. If you have a long runway, you may decide to not use any stage of flap for
takeoff, but if you only have a short runway, you may HAVE to use flap... does FSP take this into account, or does it simply have rules
defined for each aircraft regardless of situation?
