Well snake let me ask you this. I had to toy around with your Cheat to find out if it works and it does. So I took it one next step and
increased the weight of the DC-3 to 30000lbs. max 15000lbs. empty. By doing this you can improe you profit to $1,000,000 every time
you sell a plane. Now the questions. Do you think this is cheating? The program is working exactly as it should. Yes or no is irrelivant,
but where do you draw the line? I would not call it cheating myself. You found a loop hole, a glitch in the matrix if you will. Good on you.
In the same breath though. I also agree that doing that takes away from your experiance and is not fair to others who rightfully earned
thier money. It takes away from thier sense of accomplishment. I say if you like it go for it. If you don't let it go. Everyone should make of
the program what they want. Just don't tell me how you made loads of money without actually earning it.

I wouldn't call it cheating since he's not doing anything that would alter the game. He is playing it as it was developed. Let's say you buy
this action game for PS2 or PC, and you reach a level where there is a guy that is very strong and he won't die. You mission is to kill him.
Let's it is supposed to take people 200 shots to kill this guy, but there is a glitch in the game and if you shoot him in the head, he dies
instantly. Do you call that cheating? Of course, I never said it was right either, since in real life, no one will buy a plane for more than it
actually costs. If you could buy a used and broken down plane and fix it, everyone would be doing so. But that doesn't happen in real life.

Again, I would go so far as to call him a cheater. Let's say your flying in your default 747. There is no autoland, so you have to do it
manually. But on final approach, the frame rates kill you. It goes down to something like 2.5. The plane becomes unresponsive and you
crash. You decide not to save that flight, as it really wasn't fair. Do you call this guy a cheater? FS was running, and the plane was flying.

The question is, where do you draw the line? If you call one person a cheater, you have to call the other people cheater too. So I think that
we should not call anyone a cheater, and just keep playing FsP.

If it is a glitch and not implemented headshot feature, then yes, it is called a cheat among action game players. Exactly the same as
using walkthrough is considered a cheating too.

Of course, I never said it was right either, since in real life, no one will buy a plane for more than it
actually costs. If you could buy a used and broken down plane and fix it, everyone would be doing so. But that doesn't happen in real life.

Well, it really happens in RW. You can buy old plane, fix it and sell with profit. There are companies that are doing such things. And it
works.
And it is not cheating to do it in FsP. But only if you do it right, like most FsP players do.
I see you didn't read my posts carefully, so I'll explain in short why it is a cheating what

You see, there is a litte mistake in FsP.
When you find a profitable offer (cheap old plane), you buy it, fix it and sell it with income. That's pretty fair. But what would you do next in
reality? You would have to search for another profitable proposition. Right?
And here Snake uses FsP loophole, as we call it here
Actually, the proposition that you just have bought, is still available!
So you can by it again, and again and again a thouthand times in a row!!! You don't even have to exit from company manager, or even look
at screen! You just repeat the same sequence of clicks...
Do you understand? There's no way in reality to by the plane that you've already bought, fixed and sold.
Using this mistake is a cheat. But if you earn money buing and fixing planes without buing the same proposition twice, you are not
cheating by any means!

No. There's no way in reality to get 2.5fps you know. And this issue was not intended to happen by the software developer. So this is a
bug of MSFS and so it is to blame for the pilot mistake. Just like AI traffic that hunts you from behind. This way, the player only protects
him from the glitches. Besides, not saving flight, he loses all hours that he had flown (reality time), so he is punished too.
I would rather compare this example to making backup copies of the FsP database, which is even recommended by the developer.

The question is, where do you draw the line?

Good question!
I see that many people find me to severe as to the cheating definition.
But at least I have explained my point here.
My definition is made on my personal experience and I find it quite informative.
But if you can propose a better one, I'm here to listen.

No. I have no long flights with FsP yet. Longest is about 3hrs. I'm flying a small local company started with $300'000.
Currently I have 2xDC-3, 1xKingAir and 2xLearJets.
But I have twice not saved a short flights (~1.5hrs) that ended up with some heavy hitting my Bravo and Baron from behind while on final.
That was before I started to fly with AISmooth. I have had no reasons to not record any of my flights since then.
I have reliable fps, and I had not encountered any significand bugs that would ruin my flights.
Although, I guess I've had some G force and max speed excesses due to the weather modeling in FS and once I was late because of 3
go arounds, but those issues were not major problem, so I have those flights logged.

I think he was about to say that you are cheating for not saving those flights...

I have been tempted to cheat by altering the weight of a plane so that i can afford to buy it, i could rationalise that by saying that i'm only
loaning the aircraft i.e. paying much less than it's worth, but also getting less than it's worth when i sell it. Yes i think that is cheating, but
in RL companies do lease aircraft and it's one feature i think is missing from FSP. Ultimately as someone earlier said above, it's a game, we play it
for fun, if snake finds earning money that way fun i say good luck to him. If Savas (mad in my opinion) wants to go from £10,000 to 1 billion in his
bush plane, without any cheating, good luck to him too.

I have about 1 million dollars now. I had a few reliability issues with a few recent flights that grounded my aircraft, and had one crash
so that hurt a bit, but like Coxover, I save all flights, with the exception of FS9 anomalies. If I do something stupid through user error then I
save it. And yes I am MAAAAAD, but then again, crazy as I am, I dont fly FsP to get everything I want within a month. I just made rank 23
again with my second company and have no where near enough money to buy a heavy. I have a couple planes that cost close to 3 million
USD but the rest in my fleet are small planes, which I think is more fitting for a bush and out of the way airport destination company.
Canada is almost red from all my flights.
