Thanks, Dan, to have shed some light on this unpleasant story! Although I respected Brad for what he was contributing to the community (and
even if he was a bit rude sometimes, it wasn't more than other mods on other forums), but your reasons to put an end to this are more than
acceptable. If it was my forum I wouldn't accept fake personalities either.

The reason why your forum differs so much from other FS communities is your commitment to it (and to FsP of course) and the way you
handle things here. I would like to encourage you to keep up the forum because it really is exceptional and I still give it a 100% reputation

Sad events. From my side, the fact Brad is an imposter is not very important, I don't think he did it for a free copy of FsP but rather to feel more
as if he would be a pilot. A kind of oversearch of "as real as it gets". Could be also he enjoyed this "cyber-VIP" role play... Well, obviously he is
found of aviation, put heart in what he is doing, he provided here some valuable contributions to our interest and fun, so today, despite this
somewheat pathetic "game", I still keep respect for him.

In the other hand Dan, I understand that 1) You don't like to be fooled, 2) You cannot accept this situation where the result of your hard job could
be ruined by an "approval from a real fake pilot".

In summary: You took the only wise decision possible in such situation. From the customer point of view, I am fully satisfied with your prestation, I
wish your one man company success, should it only thinking about the other softwares you will create.

Hopefully, this sad end of his role play "character" will help him to find a more mature way to live his dreams.

Right analysis, I think personnaly it was at first simply to get a free copy, a small lies to be sure
to be involved in the beta team and he was catched by the roleplaying game many people being
impressed by his status. A dream come true !
At first it was the other tester in the beta forum and then hundred people here. As time pass it
was more and more difficult to admit the truth, now given his last post last night it's simply
impossible for him.

We had doubt since month, I can live with the doubt as FsP is obviously not based on brad's work and
knowledge. What I cannot live with are lies when there is evidence and unfair act against the team
and FsP. Nothing would have happenned without such arrogant attitude from a supposed "VIP"
at feelthere forum. The roleplaying game whent to far and Brad overvalued the weight that his
new VIP status can give him.

He don't care a cents about FSP or the community what he try to save now is his image and
role playing game. He will NEVER admit anything and at worse he will quit, still playing the honnest
guy that was offended.

Thanks for support, I try my best to stay fair and honnest in all my actions, it's sometime not easy

sorry for the delayed reply, been busy flying (virtually of course )

End of the day, all the evidence points to Brads pilot status being made up..

Dan had to make a decission based on his reputation, his product (and familys well being) and his FsP community, and in my opinion
he has made the correct decission.

He gave Brad the oppotunity to come clean with us, but Brad decided against it.

What most upsets me is that when the people came he from the feelthere forum, to expose him, people including myself, stuck up for
and defended Brad, so inturn, he also made us look foolish.


finally, Will and Dutch - your second home????? dammit its my 1st

wow, alot has happened here these last few days, (I haven't been here alot lately.)
When I came in last night I was shocked about the warzone that was here, I'm glad I didn't join the war. I wanted to wait until I got the story from Dan.
And now that I have, I will say that I agree with your decision Dan. It must have been a difficult decision for you, but at the end I think you made
the right thing. FsPassengers and the friendly community it has must be preserved, this is the friendliest forum i've ever seen so far, and I would
hate for it to be removed.
