I would rather them wait on release and release it with the fewest bugs possible rather than meet a release date with lots o'bugs
There are five repetitive months in September - The months of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Each of those feels like 30 days. Plus there are bonus quickie months of Saturday and Sunday which are but fleeting memories before the other five start again

I watched an interview where he mentioned there would be cloud shadows! And I saw some other screenshots where the aircraft will
cast shadows on itself (wing shadow on fuselage, etc). ![]()

Im sick to the back teeth about FSX and its still a year to its release,i dont know about you but FS9 has STILL got alot of life in it and i will
be no way counting the days for this release, lets enjoy this one to the full with at least respectively good FPS then in a year or so we can all complain about the new performance problems and the like.Cheers fs2004....hic Post Edited ( 02-09-06 22:48 )

I doubt it will be "rushed". MS has a habit of not making patches for FS titles, so they get them "as could as they can".
Plus, I do beleive, going on the standard 2 year schedule - FS2006 (as it may have been) should have been out last November. However they are going to release FSX in Q4 2007, so in one way, they have had an extra year.... maybe. Have seen the video clip of the helicopter (I posted a link to it in this forum somewhere) - it has details such as landing on cruise ships (in a chopper) and harbour yachts bobbing around, masts swaying.... it looks very very nice - I just hope the other stuff is great too (i.e. avionics, weather, ATC, etc). ![]()

I have a good feeling atc will be very simular to FS9 I would guess they would add more options compared to real life. For example... Emergency
landings would make my day and if its possible without searching on the GPS system. ATC can navigate you to the nearest airport instead. I am hoping the gates and ground vehicles will move realistic. Im sure it would take alot of resources but well worth it. Im sure they will update the muti player settings also. As in seeing lights on other aircraft and other traffic not stopping when turning on the taxi way. Im sure it would be hard to do to make realistic sounds on the traffic at the airports either hearing the roar of the engines rolling down the runway or the reverse thrusters kicking in. 1 thing I always loved about traveling in the real world is looking out the window waiting to get onto the runway and watching those planes lighting the fires and burning the tires. Im sure if microsoft saw this they would think hey!!! easier said then done : ) FS has came a long way hopefully this time they will add the wing views on the Boeing aircraft.

I have to start saving money,.. not for the program, but for a new computer! FS9 is running on the limit of my system (max detail!)
So if I want to get the most of X, I definatly need a new processor and alot more RAM.. :D |
