Go to the PC game section of Microsoft. You'll see a new flight simulator: Flight SImulator X! Finally.
I'm putting this here because this definately isn't about FS2004 and because I want to know if FSP will be updated for X?

No they mean Winter Holidays, around the same time as Vista. Mind you I did notice this, has anyone taken a really close look at the shot
of the Glider that was up a little while back, I think they are finally going to have flexing wings as standard.

Doubt it, it is still one of the biggest sellers in the history of MS. Whispers in the hallway are that Bill is a FS fan himself as well.

Paul Allen, one of Microsoft's co-founders, is also heavily into aviation, and owns his own Boeing 757. I reckon that if MS as a whole decided to
discontinue the FS line, Paul Allen would probably carry it on.
But I don't see MS stopping FS; it's just too popular a title.

Seen a number of posts about FSX, and as for the release date, Im guessing its going to be released late. Then I will also wait about a
year before I get it, hoping by then there will be a decent number of addons for it. I never use default stuff other than airports when I dont
have an addon airport.
Plus by then I will have a top of the line Vista OS computer with all the bells and whistles that can run FSX effectively instead of using a
computer that is great for FS9 but sub par for FSX
