Wow, thats expensive for a headset. Here, you can find a headset that cost $100 but you're getting ripped off if you buy it. It does the same
job as a $20 headset.

Always been expensive here. A $20 headset here would propably fall apart before i got home with it.

I have been flying on VATSIM for about 6 months, but I have 1 question do they have to sepak English any where in the world just like real
live? for exapmple if you are flying into Hong Kong do the controllers have to speak English?

The probably will. Most of the controllers will probably be Americans. I think the U.S. has the most flight simmers. I might be wrong.

I wish I had a flightism store near me. ![]() and i think Europe is because they have tons and tons of FS stores, or that might just be FS developers.

VATSIM can be the best thing and the worst as well. The best is obvious but the worst is when there is people that are ATC that take the
hobby a tad too far ![]() ![]() :faq:

Hi, from my short experience as a Vatsim pilot (2 months-OAL701), I can tell you this. All the Europeans controllers/pilots speak English.
For example, I was at Athens-Venizelos Intl. airport requesting clearance in Greek, when the tower asked me to speak in English because there were 2 pilots from other countries standby for clearance. The same when I was airborne, because of foreign pilots in the Hellenic FIR. ![]()

Hmm interesting.
didn't know that English is obligatory @ VATSIM. I am used to instruct pilot in Turkish and English (depending on the pilots request) and I have also seen and heard my fellow collegue at LCCC FIR using Greek and English. Btw I am talking about IVAO. Anyway IMHO, ATC should be able to speak English. The other languages are only optional.

I might fly on VATSIM tommorow but I probably won't be doing that event. I'll take off from Chicago, and I'm not sure where I will fly to yet.
