MS has created a base for others to exploit. Some do excellent work for free and others, for whatever their reason is, must charge for
their work. I accept that.

31 Euro is about $44 Cdn...getting steep there.

But I quit smoking so at 13.00 a pack per day by 18 days = 234. Maybe I'll buy 5 FsP programs and pass around to my friends.

Like most people above i have a number of add-ons, but only two are essential: AS6 and FSP, the others are just either eye candy or additional /
better planes. I recently bought RC4 because like most people i had problems with the default AC. However i have to say that i formatted my computer
and didn't but RC4 back on, i'm not too impressed with it, i'll give it another go later on.

I guess if I paid $700 for FS9., I'd expect it to have everything. But, it's only about 50 bucks. I'm amazed that the program can do what it
can do for that small amount! Plus, the ability to buy add ons leaves us with the decision of what we want. I don't want them all. So, we
can pick and chose what we want.

Other, earlier, flights sims were not open like this and add-ons did not exist. I think Microsoft did OK on this one. Heck, I got
an "incomplete" beer mug. It didn't come with all the beer I need!

BTW 5 euros (cigarettes) per day * 30 = 150 euro... huh * 12 = 1800 euro per year... a very silly and simple calculation... but it is
the same for the gas tank... so lets not discuss about 40 euros of addon that gives you pleasure for months (but maybe makes you sick
in your head )

MS FS9 is the cake for which people create the icing in various flavors of payware and freeware.

Out of the box the cake is edible, but isnt it so much tastier with your fav icing?

I've now added Ground Environment and FS Global mesh to my short list of addons. I'm actually really pleased with them, but I gotta say FSP is
consistently the most satisfying.
