Hello,
he idea of ur software is great. but a little too expensive i think.
When we buy FS2004, (70$ in France), ther is few plane, not complete...in fact we jsut buy a BASE. i m really deceived that we have to buy so much add on:
an add on like fspassenger should be given with FS2004, i think it is not normal that a guy must create a software for making the microsoft game more
complete.
YOu are not guilty , i don't say this...the guilty is Microsoft, which is selling an incomplete game:
i ve made the follwoing expense forecast , if wwe wwant a good FS2004:
i think this add on config should be what we may found in the game
-FS paseenger aDd on
-PMDG 747 ( a reall plane with a real cokpit)
-COncorde
-Wlco A380
- FSUIPC ( my god..we have to pay for this too)
-Active camera ( my god we have to pay if we want to see the cabin of the add on plane..great...really great)
more FS2004
if u want all this u have to pay 200$ in France...and i dont take a lot of add on..i take plane that are usefull to the game (the 747 given by
microsoft is horrible, it s scandalous!!!)
It s too expensive..that s really abusing
and all of you..payware add on creator...are giving Microsoft what they want....

Anyway, GETTING OFF BEER AND ON TOPIC:
It might seem like a lot, but Dan needs income. Keep in mind that he was jobless, possibly in spiraling debt for a year whilst developing FsP. Now,
I cannot say that for many other addons.

Actually, I prefer vine to beer.

Sure not everyone likes or can buy a lot of addon, which is of course totally dependent on the person.
That's why you can choose.

As soon as MS get's their hands on the rights to make FsP and include it in FS, they would ruin it, and we would still have to buy an addon to replace it.

Dan use alot of his personal time to make this addon and this great community, and i think he deserves to get something in return for his job well done.
But if you don't like to buy addons, you can always find freeware ones (But there is nothing out there that can replace FsP though).
For the 747 you can go to http://www.avsim.com and download fly74710.zip
It is said to be able to rival PMDG 747, and there is propably others as well.
IMO if you should buy anything for FS, it should be:
FS Passengers
Active Sky 6
Others are:
Radar Contact 4
PMDG 737ng and 800/900
PMDG 747 (or the one from Avsim)
Level-D 767
Flight 1 ATR 72-500

Some payware addon out there has a prise tag on it that is simply offencive to the quality of the addon, and FsP is not one of them.
But also keep in mind that some addon developers, use years, alot of staff and money to create an addon.
I am in no way trying to insult you or anything, everyone has there own opinion. And this is only my opinion.

no i just Think tha tMICROSOFT give us a game iconmplete...For the game to be interesting we must buy add on.
The best one are (as my opinion) that what i m going to buy if i can
PMDG series 747, Beechcraft, 737
FS PASSENGER

Of course they gave us an imcomplete game, but if it was complete, the price of the base would be $200.

I agree with you on that, MS does make an incomplete game. But they do that with addon developers in mind.
FS has a long history, and they know as well as the old time users. That it's the community and addons that makes the game complete.
It has worked for over 20 years, and it will continue to be what makes the game good.
I myself has always used freeware addon for FS until i saw FsP. Then I started buying addon after addon and i'm happy.
FsP is not just the addon, it's the whole community that comes with it that makes it really good. This is the place where you can get advise on
anything related to FsP or FS.
This is IMO the best friendliest forum out there.

Anyhow, talking for MS and other big companies: thats how business runs! Buy a computer today, and it's outdated tomorrow, no, sorry,
it's outdated already when you leave the shop!
Even Windoze is an uncomplete program! Look at all those addons you can or must buy to repair and maintain it.
I generally agree with your statements Moonknight, but thats the way the world turns today.
Nice thing is that you still have the choise to go with it, or leave it! To do some paperwork my P166MHz would do fine but for the things I
want my computer to do I need a faster machine... buy it or leave it

Just filled my gas tank for 70 euro's .
Prolly it wil get me going for a week , FSPax will last longer for half the price.
