I have to say that I have tried to raise the nose, but, I think my Joystick is a bit loose and every time I try to do that as I dont have any feeling in the movement either I dont do ti enough or, worst, I do it too much!!! With the conclusion of going up again!!! Thank you again for your comments Rainamur I'l try to do what you suggest and may be I will get a better Joystick!! (Well... allow me to find some excuses to my lack of pilot experience) ![]() ![]()

No problem,
Just remember that 99% of the time speed is controled by pitch and rate of descent is controled by power (after a few seconds, that's how things stabilize in an aircraft). One of the few exceptions to this rule is the flare before landing. Why? Because the initial effect of raising the nose will always be both a reduction of the rate of descent and a reduction in speed... and the plane lands before everything stabilizes. Whittle was still tinkering but the information in it is priceless. Worth a go along with your new stick for improving and perfecting your flying technique. ![]()
