yeah, and flaps help alot. I usually land my 757-200 at about 135-145 with full flaps.

It does depend on how heavy your plane is as well.

I land my Antonov at 190 kts. Some aircraft have better breaking/spoiler/reverse thrusters then others.

190!!!
I never though anything short of a Concorde was designed to to do that! Wow!

I know, but, as we've seen in the past two community flights lol, it's capable of landing at that speed and stoping on very short
runways. ![]()

I usually land the 737 around 146 kts full flaps, Boeing recommends 143-146 depending on current weight.

I land my Cessna at about 45-50 knots XD

737-800 Landing speed around 145-150 flaps at setting three.
Autobraking dependent on weather, and runway size, however usually at 2nd setting. To do is to be..Descartes To be is to do.. Neitche Do be do..Do be do..Sinatra RonMac Glasgow

I just would like to know how to land without having the co-pilot telling me "That's was a hard landing...." or something like that!!
The plane I use is a CRJ200 from Atlanticsun, I follow the glideslope, my flaps are fully down, my speed is 140, the plane is not heavy, everything looks (but probably to me only!) good but I'm still too fast or going down too quikly with obviously the " the tires has substained damage..." or worst... Sometime I do a very good landing and I think that finally.......but the next is bad again. Is just like Golf one day you think you are Tiger Woods and next day you find yourself in the woods!! ![]() Could someone give me a good tip, except the one to remove penalty from FS config! Thank You!!!!! (it's easy to take a plane up, but to take it down in a conventional way...........!) ![]() ![]()

Your approach category, (A-E based on speed,) is determined by taking the falling from the sky speed, (aka Stall Speed,) in landing configuration and
multiplying it by 1.3. IF the wind is less than 10kts I’ll fly this speed and generally make it to the airport. If there is a heavier wind blowing then I’ll add 5-10kts to my approach speed. Remember that rate of descent and approach speed coupled with ground effect can cause you to “float” a ways down the runway making “greasers” or early offs less than easy. ![]() Happy Flights!
Controllers do it best, just ask a pilots wife!
