Haha, I wish. If you clock at 3000Ghz right now, why do you need 3.2GHz?
In reality, 3GHz is not the actual clock speed of 3000+. I interpret it to mean how fast it is comparable to an Intel Pent.4 at that clock
speed.
There are a lot of other factors.
IMHO, the best processor out there nowadays in the Intel Core Duo Extreme. You will need a new motherboard, though, and ten years
worth of salary.
However, a 2.6GHz one will probably be as about as fast as your current rig, and also faster than a Pent.4 at 3GHz.
