Try this. It's referring to the same version of FSX-SE:

Got it working with newest Steam Update 62615 this way:
- downloading file version info editor ( http://www.carifred.com/fvie/ )
- changing file version of fsx.exe (e.g. C:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\FSX\fsx.exe) exactly to "10.0.62613.0 (SimConnect: 10.0.62613.0)"
- now FSP thinks it is the old Steam Version and will run as expected

@Dan: thank you very much for your nice add-on, but you shouldn't check the fsx.exe version if you can't update your version that quickly
