Im not the best pilot for sure, but i have yet to blow a tire in this game. If you are blowing tires on the 747 because your decent rate is too high
then you should probably step it down to a smaller plane until you get the hang of FLYING the plane into a landing. My landings generally range from
around 100 to 250 fpm. If you are touching down at 400 fpm or more you either need to flare sooner or you are flaring too early. My suggestion would
be to step it down to a smaller aircraft and strive for a average touch down of under 100 fpm. Once you can do this on a regular basis then move on to
a heavier aircraft.
