lightrail is right, the lack of real feeling maye give the false impression that you landed smooth while not.
(wow, sorry if this above is not clear, 5 am here with a cold

The vertical instrument doesn't show instant value , it's very slow and if you fail your flare (too early?) you may touchdown with a higher
value than showed on this instrument wich take 2-3 seconds to adjust.
FsPX send 30% chance to have a tire blowing at -700 FPM and 100% chance at 1200 FPS, this is near the "crash" value of FSX.
I personnaly never had one in normal landing and must really "force" myself to land hard to have one. (was not easy to test
)
In anyway I'll put this in option (or more option) in the incoming patch.
