I don't think it would be accurate to say that I'm "upset" that the music works this way. I'm not. I'm simply saying that for some people (including
myself) it doesn't represent a realistic approach to the situation and that, as designed, it can get in the way for some of us.
For those of us who don't desire the music or don't find it realistic for our flights, having it tied to the take-off and landing process is
unfortunate. To my view music is music. Look at the docs on this. The docs don't say that you can't have music playing while taking off, it just says
that some passengers may find it annoying. Thus it would strike me that music should be one entirely separate function while announcing take-off and
landings should be another.
Either way it's not that big a deal and I'm not upset. I am, however, keen to discuss any topic like this. It's part of the fun for me to be able to
discuss how any product might be improved and how.
