once you have landed,and unboarded plane, you will get a screen something liek the following...

depending on how well you flew, (hopefully it wont look that bad)
as you see at the bottom, you have the option to record the flight (so you get your pilot hours) or digard it so its lost.
when you set up a company, you can also set the option to automatically save all flights, so you dont get the option (so if you crash or do
a really bad flight, it will still get recorded)
once you land, go back to the fsp menu can select 'end flight'
