I need help saving my flight when i have my own company - ZaCh - 21-01-2006
hi,
i need help saving my flight. By the way i have only got the demo. If i want to save it do i just save it as usual by clicking "Flight" then "save
game". If so how do i load it up.
I want to be able to save my flight then nother day come back on and carry on flying in my career and my company
If there is another way of saving the career could you please tell me

why is it rubbish? if you dont have time to do a flight, do a shorter flight.......
quite a few people want a save feature, i on the other hand do not want a save feature. If i have 2 hours free, i will limit my flight to 2 hours.
If on occasions i am doing a flight, and i need to leave pc, i simply pause the flight, and then unpause it once i return.
the career is saved after each flight, your flights are not wasted, but you can not save a flight in midflight

oh so thats all i wanted to know.
so u mean when i land 1 flight it will save automatically???

once you have landed,and unboarded plane, you will get a screen something liek the following...

depending on how well you flew, (hopefully it wont look that bad)
as you see at the bottom, you have the option to record the flight (so you get your pilot hours) or digard it so its lost.
when you set up a company, you can also set the option to automatically save all flights, so you dont get the option (so if you crash or do
a really bad flight, it will still get recorded)
once you land, go back to the fsp menu can select 'end flight'

ok so where do i got to put on auto save and also i want to turn off my auto seat belt on/off

auto save is only done when you set up a new company. When you set up a new company, after entering name, and select
custom on the next screen you will see Instant record of flights - check this box. Beware, if you chose this, you cant uncheck it
once your company is created, so think wisely if you want all your flights recorded no matter how bad before you submit it
Belts - fsp menu > fsp setup > crew & GPWS settings - you will see the seatbelt and meal options in there

So later today when i go back onto fs passengers will it straight away load my company and my flights??
If not can u tell me how to load them up

yup, will all be available in the fsp menu (pilot logs, company manager etc all there for you.)
Just select fsp flight > start flight and your hours and points will all add on each flight

thnx mate for all your help, btw i have only got the demo version but i will be hopeing to buy the cd, by any chance could u tell me any
websites in the uk where i could by it from other thatn here??

simmarket.com also sell it, but i dont think thats in uk either. Why do you need somewhere in uk? just so you get it quicker?
I dont know Dan's delivery times on the boxed version, but he is in europe, so id imagine would only take a few days

I don't think they deliver the boxed version at all. I know they're in Europe, because they charged me in Euros.
