Hi yaoi161519!
Welcome in the world of FSPassengers! I think I really understand what you are talking about and I think Dan can highly appreciate that you decide to
buy this software legally.
I was living myself for seven years in Indonesia and I had several strange experiences too trying to buy legal software ;-)
I will never forget my local computer dealer in Lumjang who was whispering with a conspiracy sounding voice into his phone to his distributor in
Surabaya: "I have here a customer who want's to buy a legal copy of Windows XP, what we can do about that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And also not the news from Kompas (national available newspaper) which states that the Indonesian Government finally decides to buy for more than
30.000 government computers legal copies...
Where ever you try to buy you will get every thinkable software for approximately 10.000 up to 30.000 Rupiah, which is about 0.81 - 2.43 Euro. So you
don't have to ask if this is legal software. And I don't talk about little dirty backstreet shops and under the desk selling. I talk about super malls
like Tunjungan Placa in Surabaya with big racks with loads of software in luxury environment...
And to Dan and others to understand: 400.000 Rupiah is for many many people in Indonesia much more than one monthly salary. When I was still there (in
the end of 2003) in our region the minimum salary for a day was 11.500 Rupiah (=345.000 a month) and may times the people a payed less.
Mick!
