Great story, by chance there was no injury... but it could end very bad...
One should not mess with air security... in this case I'm sure the crash
was more expensive than all the fuel saved previously.
"-Pilot to tower. I am 300 miles from land. 600 feet over water and running out of fuel. Please instruct! "
"-Tower to pilot. Tower to pilot. Repeat after me, 'Our Father, which art in heaven...'"
