on the other hand it should be 1 hour which is the golden hour for survival. and having the penalty is a bad idea because what if you are in the middle
of the ocean and get it, then you will get the penalty no matter what you do. on the other hand it would give some more realism which i think will be
quite good and you could have one just after takeoff meaning you have to dump fuel if in large aircraft to get under the maximum landing weight. of
course this onewould be one where you declare a mayday or pan pan depending on the severity of it.
