Thanks for kind words
I installed first P3D on my old computer and I had a lot of OOM when I pushed the sliders to my expected level of rendering. I was very frustrated so
I bought new hardware components (2013-2014, way less expensive) and made a new PC with windows 7.
Finally I got this rendering on my 2560x1444 monitor without any more OOM & crash and my jaw dropped:
"Prepar3D 2.5 with Aerosoft DHC6"

Virtual cockpit view

For my pleasure I started a bush flight journey with the DHC6 and missed badly FsPassengers to record the flights
Month later, here I am, ready to continue my bush flights, well....when I'll have time...
FSX & P3D are not forgiving, you really need to tune the settings for your hardware to get good result and you need to adjust them in the cfg files
(configuration dialog is not enough detailed)
Yet I get a score of 9788 at 3DMark, it's not high end, but it's sufficient to get a smooth FPS on the screen above.
Here is my test with hardware components: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/6576213 (since I moved to Windows 7 x64)
