Seems to me you don't have a module called FSUIPC that takes care of sudden wind shifts like that. Believe me, it's worth every penny. I've not had
overspeeds in cruise for several years now due to the wind smoothing capability of FSUIPC.
To beg Dan to do something about the over speed penalty is pointless really. Once you hit the Vmo, your goose is cooked
