With full flaps the plane stays pretty much level, although of course it will tilt backwards a bit. Maybe it's that, although I have belly landed a
DC3 at stall speed succesfully before. At that occasion my descent rate was between 30 and 40 FPM. I fear the limit might be set at 50
FPM, meaning I missed it by just 2 FPM
