Thats happened to me before! I took off from EINN in a 737 i think it was, landing at Heathrow. I was flying IFR and kept heading hold on. I
went to the bathroom downstairs, and when i was gone, the controller told me to turn heading, but i didnt because I was away. So i kept
on goin and landed in Norway!
