hello,
The price is based on weight, type of aircraft, engine number, and also "hours" of the aircraft and state..
I have done a table with real price and weight to control the price and they are usually off by only a slight
amount.... (max 10%) anyway it's within a logicall range.
there is a production date database (based on name example DC10 747-100) if your day date is within
production date you can buy a brand new aircraft (you can buy a brand new DC3 for example if you set
your Fsdate to 1945 else you can't)
Brand new aircraft cost full price, have only a dozen of hours of flight but don't have any maintenance cost
surprise...
Each time you buy an aircraft you have 3-4 choice of opportunities also, somes are good oportunities while
some others may be costly in regards of maintenance expense... a "buy advice" text is here to help you make your
choice.
You may buy from time to time an aircraft that is a "bad opportunities" mean it have a quick degrade rate
so the maintenance expense wwill be high, those aircraft are cheap have usually a high hour count and the buy
advice give somes hints...
#2 there is a slight penality of 30% of your pilot bonus points if you use time compression, but most important you can
gain a special bonus for "long flight without using time acceleration and satisfied passengers"
the goal is not to penalise people that use it but more to reward people that do NOT use it...
hope this answer ?
