does any one no about SECAL codes? I need a lot of help, can anyone explain it to me?


here is waht was in my E-mail, can anyone sum it up?

Pilots:
Based on some feedback, we have decided to assign you all a SELCAL code for the flyin... it enables controllers to get a hold of you
quickly during the event. The code given to you is your code and your code alone. If you wish to use another code, you must inform me
before 10AM tomorrow, as after that point they are not changeable. To find out about how to enter a code please look at
http://www.kadair.org.uk/selcal.htm - which was provided by our friends at KADAIR.

I understand that that with us providing you a SELCAL requires you to do some extra work to set it up, but we think you will agree that the
added ease of communication with ATC will make your life and the flyin go more smoothly (in the event they need to contact you). You
should add SEL/XXXX to your REMARKS section - where if your code was AB-CD your remarks would be SEL/ABCD.
