The last 3 days I have made 5 flights with my DA's Fokker 100/70 and I haven't blown a tyre yet. Same goes for the PMDG MD11.
The Jus tFlight 737 classic series is just so darn crude lol, it's a b**ch to land it

Hi All
I'm new with this Add-on ( i play fs since fs98 ) i considered myself a good pilot, but when i try landing with a Mooney Bravo... a huge surprise, in 4 in a row landing, 4 in a row tire blow, lol. i reallyce i doing touchdown with a high vertical speed, so i start to do a a landing with less v speed... and was a good idea, since i do that i dont have any tireblow.... some landings are about 400-300 fpm, but the mayor part are 250-100 here is the paste of my best landing. my question are... maybe sound like a rookie question... what mean the landing pitch angle?? cheers Flight ID: MX146 Flight Type: Normal Pilot: ************** Company: Mexicana Virtual Aircraft: Beech King Air 350 N3011MX Flight Date: April 19 2009 Departure: 06h05 (13h05 GMT) Arrival: 10h00 (16h01 GMT) From: MMCS - Abraham Gonzalez Intl - Mexico To: MMGL - Don Miguel Hidalgo Intl - Mexico Planned flight time: 02h44 (real flight time 02h57) Nbr of Passengers: 10 Report: Flight Distance: 687 Nm Landing Speed: 131.91 kt Time Airborne: 02h48:36 Landing Touchdown: -75.4 ft/m (kiss) Flight Time (block): 02h57:56 Landing Pitch: -1.08° Time On Ground: 00h10:01 Landing Weight: 12634 lbs Average Speed: 244.72 kt Total Fuel Used: 2373 lbs Climb Time: 00h15:42 Climb Fuel Used: 288 lbs Cruise Time: 02h03:52 Cruise Fuel Used: 1794 lbs Average Cruise Speed: 274.70 kt (M0.44) Cruise fuel/hour: 869 lbs (calc) Descent Time: 00h29:02 Descent Fuel Used: 290 lbs ![]() To boldy go, where no sim flyer has gone before ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Landing pithc angle is how high your nose is pointing when your main gear touch the ground.

There are some runways in flight sim where the landing pitch will be registered as a negative value due to the way the terrain has been modelled, but
I'm not sure which ones they are - I am just aware of their existance.

After making 15 flights with FsPX, I've had one landing at -166 ft/min that resulted in a tire blowing out on the default 737. EOF report
indicated there was low tire pressure prior to takeoff, so that resulted in a blown tire. I used the CLS A330-200 yesterday and had another very smooth landing at -100 ft/min and no blown tire. I have my company set easy to hard failures at 6%. Next time I'll try a firmer landing and see if I get a blown tire. But, it's hard to do a firmer landing since I strive for the softest landings possible ![]()

Try touch n gos as practice , pull a big wheelie all the way down the rway with the stall horn blaring ( but not stalled!!!), keeping rear wheel
firmly attached to ground , and making sure front wheel doesn't impact the tarmac (making sure you keep aircraft centered on rway). Teaches good control, and gives an opportunity for pattern practice. not all that exciting i know but its a stepping stone to better landings. Emma
