Stop during taxi after landing does is not the end

(probably a bug). When I taxi to the gate after landing, I may stop before crossing a runway, and wait there for the clearance. The stewardess shouldn't announce "we have arrived" until I turn off the seat belt sign.

If you don't set your parking brake she won't make the announcement.

And that is exactly why the FA makes her announcement.
No parking brake = no announcement .

Sorry, I don't quite see the point of your posts here and in suggestions topic. Obviously, not only I know the way it works, but I in fact posted that this exact way is wrong because parking brake is not always equal to the end of journey.

Maybe, but that is the way FSP handles it....
And from your second post I got the impression you did not see the connection between parking brake and announcement; sorry if I got you wrong here,
never mind in that case.

i think that this should be changed, as in FsP should rewgister the end of the flight with engine shutdown or with the beacon light being
turned off...

It could be a possible improvement in FsP. Some planes are still going forward with throttle on idle. Off course we can keep braking with
the key or joystick button but it's a problem if we want for example take screen shots or so.

What about triggering the end of flight when:
Parking brake set on AND seat belts lights set off ?

Maybe it would be better to change the way to end the FsP flight.

About the thing that some planes still move forward when engines on idle. I heard about a normal procedure for airbus, to shutdown one
engine if the taxi is long or when they have to wait for a long time. I don't know if this is true however. I've seen this once in a copy of a
checklist.

Yes, you do.
If you flying not a military aircraft over it, than some other commercial aircraft may be on the air there as well.
In this case you want them to see you, and you want to see them too.
So no excuse - lights must be on.
And do not tell that you fly military aircraft - FsP does not simulate this!
As well as it doesn't simulate air to ground and air to air combat.
War zones in FsP are not "real" areas of warfare, since you'll never be shot at FL330 for example, and noone will use any missiles to
shot you down. All that is simulated, is a hand gun fire, and in the high risk settings, small caliber anti aircraft artillery.
This kind of weapons can be used by some guerillas e.t.c., but not a regular army.
But then again, even terrorists have their Stingers to hunt something down.
The fact that they do not use them means only that they are not really interested to get you down. So that the missile is far too expensive
to use it against you.
So they just fire ther hand weapons to scare your or if they have luck, even bring you some eventual damage.
Please also note, that despite all the heavines of the damage that you can receive in the war zone, you'll never be killed by the ground fire.

For all said, you can easily assume that either those war zones are not "war" but "high risk of gunfire", or, otherwice, they are warzones,
but you are definitely not the enemy but the accidental victim. For example, you may be shot by allied soldiers by mistake.
So generally, you are not a target by any means, so no need to play a stealth, turning lights off, aspecially since it can't actually reduce
probability of beign shot in FsP

That's what I think about it...
