Error when opening Pilots Flight Log after migration to FsX

How about making a back-up of your FsPX database folder before uninstalling When you reinstall FsPX, you can move the saved folder
back over to FsPX. Of course, I would remove the new database(after the re-installation) and put it in a safe place in case you need it in
the future.

Well, you got some attention from whisky-zulu and Joeflyer, but, unfortunately, no solution. I don't think they're paid to provide support.

I'm no expert, but have you tried recording a new flight with FSPX to see if that corrects the database's structure, i.e. as if ignoring the error
message? Doing so, for instance, might make FSPX remove the orphaned flight ID that produces the error, leaving everything to work smoothly
again at the cost of losing that one flight from the database.

I have no idea, though, whether or not this would work, so make sure you make or keep a backup of the current (faulty) database in case adding a new
flight mangles it further.

If you've already tried this, I'm afraid nothing else comes to mind right now. I've only used FSPX for six weeks and so far haven't needed to delve
into any of its intricacies.

You said that you've been sending him internal messages in the forum, but what about an email?? Did you use the "Contact" tab at the bottom of the
page to send him an email? Possibly you could zip up the database and send it to him.

I am constantly using FsPAX to get the flights but I cannot get into the database to see the previous flights. Not sure what to do next.

Here's the thing. Stuff happens. Data are corrupted. Files are lost.

You know what the solution is? Making backups.

Redundant backups are even better, because backups can also get corrupted, deleted, etc.

So, backup your flight database regularly.

I wish what you told me had any help at this point, maybe for future. I am stuck with hundredths of flights that I cannot see because I followed the
steps to get the database transferred from FS9 to FSX as that is when that happened.

The product is nice but I have to say that support is down the tube.
