Error when opening Pilots Flight Log after migration to FsX - maredzki - 27-05-2010
Everything works fine with the exception of viewing the pilot flight log. It throws an error which I cannot remember what it exactly states, but it
seems something is corrupt.
Please help!

1) Post a screen shot
or
2) Remember what the error message says

The link gives a 403 error. The best thing for you to do is upload the screenshot to somewhere like photobucket and then link it from there to here
using the image tags.

whiskey-zulu, I have updated the previous post to have the img tags in it. Not sure why, but I can see the images, both in the link and the tags, just
fine. Let me know if you still have issues seeing the image and I will put it on photobucket or picasa.

Have you at any time in the past re-installed FSP and then re-installed a back-up of your pilot and logs?

Nope, had FS9 with FsPassengers then got FSX and FspassengersX and copied over just the recommended files over from FS9 to FSX and since then everything was working fine with this one exception.

Errr, I just re-read your comment. It seems the answer should be Yes: I have installed FspaX on FSX and copied over the backup from FS9.

Not sure I understand... apparentely moving over the database files which I read in FAQ's is not enough. So what do I need to do, reinstall the FSX
version and then install it back? What is "Dan's recommended way"?

ok, I'm assuming you have FSX with all service packs? You may want to uninstall FsPX then:
1-Boot your computer fresh.
2-Reinstall FsPX
3-Start FsX and unlock again.
4-Start a flight it should work.

Ok, how about the flights that I want to retain from FS? You do not mention anything about restoring the db back...
