I retract my statement here as on my third long haul after uninstalling FSP X , I got a OOM. I am now using the /3gig switch , seems fine for know with FSP X reinstalled.
Here is a big problem with FSP X and it needs to be looked at very carefully.
I am running FSX SP2 , Vista Ultimate 32bit 100 % up to date , 8800 GTX
Nvidia , No virus scanners or other programs running . This setup has been
running for at leat 27 months without ANY problems whatsover , I always fly online with
IVAO,normally doing 14 hour long hauls between BIKF - FAJS.
I recently purchased three new addons namely PMDG MD 11 , Real Enviroment
Extreme , Active Sky Advanced and these long hauls continued without any
problems evening after evening weekend after weekend. I then purchased FSP X as I
know this is a excellent product and I own the FS9 version also ,but for the first time in my PC`s history
after installing FSP X , I get a OOM message (Out of Memory message ) FSX need to
restart please lower settings. This seems to happen after about 4 hours in the flight online. I then
googled around their is alot of articles from Phil Taylor , Microsoft and here :

giving , saying this and that.
I have even considered upgrading to 64 bit , BEFORE making any decisions I
decided to follow a route , after playing around with settings as advised in
the above forums / blogs I redid my routes BIKF - FAJS online and I got the OOM three times
again this was really a blow to me.
I then decided to uninstall FS Passengers X as a last resort today. After uninstalling the product today I reloaded
my route online BIKF - FAJS with my PMDG MD 11 and ASA and REX online with IVAO I completed a 14 hours flight without ANY
OOM`s or problems." I have done 2 long haul flights now without FSP X system runs fine". So after testing my setup extensively
I can say with much certainty that here is a problem with FSP X on my system .
I am taking time here to explain my situation[/color] in as much detail as possible as I love FSP X and I need it to work. I very
rarely had a issue like this were FSX had any problems only a very long time
ago when I got my PC`s for the first time I used to get blue screens due to drivers but that
was sorted out years ago.
So I strongly believe here is a problem and I believe that from my side I
cannot correct it , I need the input from you guys or FSP X support to give
me the direction that needs to be followed from here onwards.

Thanks for a excellent product thus far even if I could only use it on short
routes. Hoping this matter can be solved.
Regards
Johan
